Istiklal ( Independence) Street is the most famous pedestrian street in Istanbul. On the street, you can see different types of stores, hawkers, schools, mosques, churches and so on. It is also common to see musicians here.The street is almost four miles long.It is home to the second- oldest subway in the world, stretching all the way from Taksim Square to the Tunnel.
